Brendan Keegan

Legal Director & Pro Bono Attorney

Brendan is an airline pilot for a legacy airline and an Assistant District Attorney who focuses his practice on alcohol and drug-related prosecution. Prior to his role in criminal law, Brendan practiced in the litigation department at a nationwide law firm whose practice focuses on disputes across a range of industries. His experience at that firm included both criminal and commercial litigation and he regularly counseled companies on corporate governance matters in connection with significant transactions or potential litigation.

While at Baylor University, Brendan was a law clerk with the McLennan County District Attorney’s Office in Waco, Texas, and participated in moot court, preparing appellate briefs for fourth amendment and constitutional issues. During law school, Brendan was invited to law review, where he wrote and published an article advocating for a change in the federal aviation medical regulations and researched training reimbursement agreements as they pertain to airline and corporate pilots.

Brendan holds type-ratings in Embraer 145, Airbus A320, and Boeing 737 aircraft.
